Mea Vai
Mea is a highly experienced intellectual property lawyer with over 20 years of experience in Papua New Guinea – 17 of those with a top-tier international firm.
Admitted to practice law in Papua New Guinea, New Zealand, and Australia (Queensland), Mea’s expertise covers a wide range of non-contentious IP matters, including trademarks, patents, industrial design, and copyright.
Mea has represented a variety of clients, including some of the top global brands in various industries, such as food and beverage, retail, technology, banking and finance, fashion, pharmaceutical, industrial and construction, mining/resources, agriculture, and transport.
Aside from my work in intellectual property, I have a keen interest in residential property development. I have successfully completed several projects and am currently working on my biggest project to date.

Edith Vai
Edith is an IP Consultant and Corporate Services Manager with over 6 years experience in this role. From undertaking responsibilities to manage IP portfolios for the firm’s key clients, Edith is also responsible for managing corporate service requirements for the firm’s overseas clients.
Edith is also a certified foundation company director accredited through the PNG Institute of Directors.
